How do I place my phrase in the title-tag and on my website?
What is a title-tag?
The "title" tag is an HTML element that defines the title of a web page. It is placed within the <head>section of the HTML code and plays an important role in search engines and user experience.
The "title tag" appears in two ways:
- highlighted text in search engine results as the title of the link to the page.
- text displayed at the top of the browser window, usually next to the site's icon.

How to add my phrase to the title tag?
- Open the HTML source code of your page.
- Locate the <title> tag in the HTML code, for example: "<title>Visibox - Your site on the first page of Google </title>". This tag is usually found within the <head> section of the HTML document, just after the opening <head> tag and before the closing </head> tag.
- Edit the text within the <title> tag to the new title you want to display on the page and in search engine results. For example, if we were to change it to "Visibox - Get to the first page of Google", it would look like this: "<title>Visibox - Get to the first page of Google </title>".
- Save the changes made to the HTML code and refresh the page in the browser. The new title defined in the "title" tag will now be displayed in the browser's title bar and in search engine results.
What if I don't want to change my website's current title?
If you don't want to change your current website title, you can keep it and simply add the contracted phrase from Visibox, separating the titles with a vertical bar |.
See the example below:

Note: Google has a character limit for the title tag. For this reason, some parts may not appear to users, as in the example where we added the phrase "Reach the first page" to the existing title. Even if Google doesn't display the full title to users, the algorithm still reads it — therefore, it's essential to include the entire phrase so that our technology works effectively.
How to add the chosen phrase to my page?
The chosen phrase can be added anywhere on your site, as long as it's on the page you specified during the contract. The process is very similar to adding the title tag, but instead of going to the <head> and <title> tags, you will add the phrase anywhere within the "<body>" tag (i.e., between "<body>" and "</body>").
Some tips that may help:
- Place the phrase on the "homepage" of your site, as in the example of the Visibox site where we added the phrase "Your site on the first page of Google".
- Repeat the phrase 2-3 times within your site.

Okay! But why do I need to add the phrase to the tab title and within my site?
Google's algorithm is an association mechanism. When a search is performed, it tries to answer the question: how much is this site associated with this search? When you add a phrase both on your site and in the title tag, they serve as indicators for Google to understand that your site will answer that search, ranking it when users search for it.
